Bouchard et. al: behaviour genetics psychologist who found that identical twins reared together are more similar that those reared apart. He criticized the theory that identical twins are more similar than fraternal twins in saying that identical twins share the same genes and environment, so he conducted this study about identical twins reared apart. However, identical twins reared together or apart are still more similar than fraternal twins reared together or apart (chapter 4) Jean piaget: the minds of children have their own minds and a separate logic from adults. They actively seek out information about their world and are innately motivated to learn about the world. They use schemes to help learn and understand the world. He came up with the four stages of cognitive development: sensorimotor, pre-operational, concrete operational, forma operational (see chapter 5). His focus was on the sequence of learning, rather than the age.
