Sigmund freud (psychoanalytic theory), unconscious mental processes shape feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Carl rogers & abraham maslow (humanistic psychology), emphasis on self-determination, free will, and the importance of choice. Cognitive neuroscience combines cognitive psychology (study of the mind) and neuroscience (study of the brain).
