Case three: a speed race: benelli and oj compete in the international motorbike arena. Issue: the main issue that is prevalent in the case is the clashing cultures of the chinese qianjiang group (oj) and italian. Once oj acquired benelli, the company began to see serious improvement after years of shortcomings. Benelli oj has felt the weight of cultural differences in several areas of business, such as work environments and administrative actions. These differences are not only causing internal problems, but also have become a major source of stagnation. Benelli oj desires to improve worldwide strength, enter new markets and increase market share, but is facing serious delays. Benelli oj will not be able to reach its long-term, goals until the company overcomes this culture struggle. Analysis: i will be conducting a cage analysis to better understand the cultural differences between china and italy. Cultural: in terms of culture, china and italy are very different.
