Set: up to six games, winning by 2. Match: 2 out of 3 sets (6-3, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6) Ace = serve that no one touches and gets a point. Fault/ double fault = faulty serve, get 2 in a row and you lose a point. Service winner = server serves and opponent touches it but it goes out. *you always say servers score first* if the score is 1-0 for opponent, now when i serve the score is called love one . Change ends after first game, and then after every two games. Always start a new game from right side, then move left side. Once set totals add to an odd number you switch sides. Men major at grand slam tournament play 3 out of 5 sets instead of 2 out of 3. No tie breakers in the fifth or third set. At us open they would have played a tie breaker.
