This study is going to try and answer using fmri why the reason is. Why are people so intrigued and hooked to something that is so bad for them. Cigarette warning labels ended up encouraging smokers not deterring them by the results of the mri when the nucleus accumbens lit up. The study really wants to undercover why people do or don"t buy certain products. Women in experiment said that the labels deter her but her brain said the opposite and in fact she was giving the answer she thought to be right. 8/10 new launches for products fail within the first three months.
