The midterm exam will be written on friday, october 26th at from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. I have posted the location of the exam on owl. I will add you to the list and book an adequate sized room for the makeup. If you unable to write due to illness or compassionate grounds, ie a death in the family, you must see an academic adviser to obtain permission to write the makeup exam. The midterm exam will be worth 40% of your total grade, and there will be approximately 80 multiple choice questions. The exam is based approximately 40% lecture and 60% assigned readings. You cannot rely on the content of the powerpoint slides only. Questions on the exam will also cover the material presented in lecture that was not on the slides. The slides are a guideline for the lecture material.
