Elements are the basic building blocks of matter that cannot be broken down by chemical means together to form molecules. Subatomic particles of atoms: neutrons are neutral (uncharged, protons are positively charge, neutrons and protons make up the nucleus. Electrons are negatively charged and orbit around the nucleus. Born in siberia: trained as a science teacher, organized elements spatially by increasing mass, linking those with like properties.
