You have a voice in the union to express your opinions. There is always tension between the interests of the employee and the interests of the employers. This is why you need a union to represent you and your interests as an employee. Craft union unions were considered to be a conspiracy against business so people in the same craft organized a union together. It is a labor union of people of the same skilled craft. It was developed to promote and defend the interests of skilled workers (variously known as artisans, mechanics, craftsmen and tradesmen).
