Act based uilitarianism acts that maximize happiness/beneit. Negaive responsibility responsible for acions we do or don"t take. Kant duty is absolute: categorical imperaives duty is only ethical if it covers all: Can"t use people as a means to an end. Golden mean : mechanism to determine a virtue, virtue between excess and deiciency, not the same as golden rule (reciprocity)
