All textbook foster and ideology of difference which legitimated the white occupation of the province as both natural and morally necessary at the same time that it rendered 1st nation ppl and asians as other. Imperialism was at the centre of the process of indoctrination. Imperialism and racism went hand in hand. Imperial expansion required the subjugation of the ppl already inhabiting the land.
