Conceptualization is the process by which concepts are formed through the selective organization of sensory experience. When you are an expert in conceptualizing things every day, you can have the same troubles when things before complex. Radiologist determining if tumours are cancerous vs. not compared to someone who is not a radiologist will have a harder time distinguishing if a tumour is cancerous. Prejudice is something that we made up, it is not out there waiting to be discovered but something that was created through conceptualization. Reification is the mistake of treating a conceptual construction as something real. Specification is the process of clarifying the meaning of concepts. A conceptual definition clarifies a term"s meaning by relating it to other concepts. Operational definitions are the steps (including operationalization, instrumentation and measurement) of observing abstract concepts at the concrete level. A dimension is a specifiable aspect or facet of a concept.
