Most gender-role change in canada has resulted, directly or indirectly, from the impetus provided by feminist movements. The more general and multifaceted a movement"s goals and aspirations, the more difficult it is, for insiders and outsiders alike, to agree upon what constitutes success and to determine whether it has been achieved. Resistance movements seek to forestall further change to existing social conditions. Regressive movements goal is to restore social conditions and structures to their pre-change state. Anti-feminist regressive movement pro-family organizations: r. e. a. l = realistic, equal, active and for life, real women explicitly blames feminism for a decline in family values and consequent moral and social degeneration of our society.
