Lgbt youth are more likely to be assaulted on involved in physical fights than their heterosexual friends. Lgbt youth are more likely to skip class because they feel unsafe than their heterosexual peers. Lgbt youth are more likely to be attacked by other youth for their sexual orientation. Teachers fail to provide safety for the youth. Lgbt youth are more likely to use drugs or alcohol. Lgbt youth are more likely to engage in risky sexual behaviour and run away from home.
