Urban area maximum use the space (land), e. g. taller apartment building. Difference between people living, urban or rural. Perception and cognitive filtering: seeing what we want. Phenomenal environment : physical milieu which behavior takes place. Behavior environment : psychological milieu in which behavior takes place. Life level; socio-economics, demographics, psychographics= level of health and political involvement. Environments are shaped by and in turn influence the decision making process. Problem to be solved>experience information data>certainty evaluation uncertainty>negative feedback or positive feedback>back to step 1. Geographical environemnt: the sum total of the world known and unknown. Operational environment: the world that implies on you, knowingly or unknowingly. Perceptual environment: the world of which you are aware but may not interact with. Behavioural environment: the world with which you directly interact. Never seen in real life but useful for theoretical modeling. Known as economic persons behaving under ceteris paribus conditions. The best you can do under the known circumstances.
