Atmosphere, oceans even the sun are all intertwined. 120 satellites help to realize the correlation between these. World is continuously heated and supplied with energy from the sun. Humans can only see visible light, satellites can make all forms of light visible. This satellite observes how heat is dispersed on earth. Lack of ice on equator allows more heat to be absorbed. Antartica is an average of 43 degrees colder than the north pole. Poles stay cold because very little sun light and most is reflected back. Warm moist tropic air and cold air interact and create a vortex (polar jet)of air around antartica. These winds drive ocean circulation and isolates antarctica.
