Severe wheezing, shortness of breath, and circulatory collapse. Used to be od, short form no longer exists. Tid, tid: now: one time only order and need med quickly; but not as quickly as stat order. Buccal administration - place solid med in the mouth and against mucous mem of the cheek until med dissolves -- to avoid mucosal irritation, teach pt to alternate cheeks. Parenteral routes; injecting med into body tissues - 4 main types of injection.
