Things that you"re changing are bigger than you. Things are usually more complicated than they appear. Your priority is most likely not going to be your client"s priority. Usually they are as they are due to assumptions. A nurse who practices where people are . Schools, public health, home care, community clinics, community agencies, shelters, homeless outreach, addictions, mental health facilities, correctional institutions, religious institutions, etc. Needs assessment, program planning/evaluation, community development, policy development, political action & advocacy, health education/communication, counseling, social marketing, health prevention and promotion.
