This sets physical responses to go off : blood pressure goes up, breathing speeds up, etc: as opposed to lang, it has to do with the mind and thought, not the body : belief, emotions can be seen to have an object, that our responses are objects of our emotions, other emotions will have objects as well (cid:224) when one is angry, we believe that whatever on has says is wrong to us, so we get angry, as opposed to lang, it isn"t just about our bodies, it is about our fears, our angers etc, belief that something unjust has happened, when subjects were introduced to a room of angry people, they felt the belief of anger ; they had a bodily response, as well as cognitive, when they were introduced to the euphoric room, they formed the belief that something great had just happened, so they were euphoric, what lang theory lacks, cognitive explains the rationality part of emotions.
