Politics influences and creates boundaries that are followed within society for everyone. It is important because it is the making of decisions that affect our community: power- the power to achieve an objective using the ability to influence people to do what that might not have otherwise. Example: forcing the government to cancel tuition fees from increasing here the student group has exercised its power effectively. 1the ability to affect decisions (stopping/changing/passing of a law or bill)
