Most need 7 to 10 hours of sleep. College and university students need 9 hours of sleep. People with a dec2 mutation allows people to sleep 6 hours without crashing the next day. People who lack sleep often get depression, difficulties in learning, not being able to pay attention, and being generally slow in every aspect. More severe lack of sleep will lead to hallucinations, weight gain, high blood pressure, heart problems, and immune system problems/more infections will occur.
