Power comes through legal and admin rights as well as informal norms. Dependence model: core features of power dynamics explains sources & coningencies of power. Legiimate, rewards and coercive power and given formally by organizaion or informally by coworkers. Expert and referent power originate from holder"s own characterisics. Addiionally, info power is a form of legiimate and expert power.
