Many people think communication is simple and natural: in reality, human communication is complex and fraught with opportunities for misunderstanding, it"s sharing information in a planned way communication. Encoding and decoding can sometimes cause communication errors. Feedback enables a manager to determine whether the employee correctly interpreted the message: effective communication involves both the transference and the mutual understanding of information. Communication champion philosophically grounded in the belief that good communication is essential to building trust, gaining commitment, and inspiring and uniting people to work together to accomplish a common purpose. Visibly and symbolically engage in a variety of communication-based activities. Effective manager communication is purpose-directed, in that it directs people"s attention toward the vision, values, and desired outcomes of the team or organization and persuades people to act in ways to achieve important goals. If people don"t hear from managers, they rely on rumours: asking questions shows people that you"re interested in who they are.
