Classical conditioning is a type of learning in which a stimulus acquires the capacity to evoke a response that was originally evoked by another stimulus. 1900, during study of the role in salvia in dogs o discovered dogs would respond to stimuli if presented at time of meat powder. Unconditioned stimulus (ucs): stimulus that provokes an unconditional response without previous conditioning. Unconditioned response (ucr): unlearned reaction to an unconditional stimulus that occurs without previous conditioning.
