Predominately inattentive type (adhd-i), predominately huperactive-impulsive type (adhd-hi), combined type (adhd0c: dignosis requires presense of symptoms before age 7. Reading disorder by 19 is around 50% of people with adhd: anxiety (25-35%) Children with both are less hyperactive, and impulsive that those who don"t have both: depression (25-30%) Adhd plus depression results in poorer outcome than either disorder alone. Symptoms: self-regulation, self-organization, social relationships, poor academic achievement: adolescence. Disorder often persists in 40-80% of affected youth. Poor school achievement, reading prob, conduct disorder, accidesnt, antisocial, drug use, social prob: adulthood. 40-60% of people still display symptoms impaired social relationships, depression, low self concept, antisocial, drug use: primary features lessen over time, while secondary problems develop and exist into later years.
