Assessments: professionals usually use four methods of assessment: Behavioural observations- the behavioural observations can be done in the classroom and/or in the clinician"s office using a computerized continuous performance test. Causes: neuroimaging studies have identified three areas of the brain that might be affected in people with adhd: the frontal lobes, the basal ganglia, and the cerebellum. The frontal lobes are responsible for executive functions or the ability to regulate one"s behavior.
