Cable networks such as vh-1 and mtv. Media focuses on more sensational aspects of biography at the expense of serious consideration of the music. I know what i like: the fan mentality. Being a fan entails frequently listening to the music as well as gathering interesting facts about both the artists and the music. We tend to reject a lot of other types of music.
