Fundamental attribution error: judge self in most generous terms possible but blame other"s problems on their own personal qualities. Self-serving bias: quick to take credit for success and assign blame elsewhere for failures. We are influenced by the obvious (but the most obvious factor is not always the only cause) Halo effect: positive first impressions, often influenced by physical attractiveness (may also believe they have other positive qualities because they"re attractive)
