The author of this article explores whether or not violent video games impact the aggressive nature of its players. The article touches upon the beliefs of many that violent video game such as call of duty and grand theft auto are negatively impacting the lives of the millions of teenagers who play these games. The evidence has shown that the studies conducted that ruled the two are linked, were only measuring short term effects. Once studies were done to discover the long term effects, it was revealed that there was no difference between the aggressive nature of those who played violent video games and those who did not.
