To support the volume and complexity of today"s user and application requirements, it needs to take a fresh approach to enterprise architecture by constructing smarter, more flexible environments that protect from system failures and crashes. Enterprise architecture (ea) includes the plans for how an organization builds, deploys, uses and shares its data, processes, and it assets. A solid ea can decrease cists, increase standardization, promote reuse of it assets, and speed development for new systems. An enterprise architect is a person grounded in technology, fluent in business, and a patient diplomat, who provides the important bridge between it and the business. Managing a global ea is not only technically complex, but also has major political and cultural implications. A lot of the time the standards in the different continents can be conflicting. Linking to online global businesses offers companies unprecedented potential for expanding markets, reducing costs, and improving profit margins.
