The bible does not like the idea that computers can take over humans, if (cid:271)ei(cid:374)g (cid:862)hu(cid:373)a(cid:374)(cid:863) is defi(cid:374)ed (cid:271)y ou(cid:396) (cid:271)(cid:396)ai(cid:374)s. Roman catholic church was established in 391 ce and was the most powerful organization at that time. Stories from the bible helped people understand more about themselves and the world and how to structure society (government, families, etc) It was seen as an agreement between god and his people. The bible was the most powerful and perhaps only source of knowledge. Churches were there to make the scriptures rational and relevant to daily life.
