Our population now is about 6 billion (1 billion of which was gained in 1 year) 1950 we had a decline in death rates = + population. We are now increasing population very gradually. Undeveloped/developing countries didn"t have the education nor family planning necessitiesincreasing population. China"s fertility rate is 1. 9%, compared to our 0. 1: they could double in population after 36 years, kept growing 11 million annually. Both us and canada"s population would increase gradually in 2050. Interactions between population, consumption, the environment, and health. When few people inhabited this earth, few biological systems were seriously damaged Now that our population is 6 billion, we are facing an economic dilemma. In the next 50 years, it would be hard to accommodate everyone with the necessary resources. We have a lot of technological output waste in places like japan. These generate about 75% of all waste and pollution.
