Trigger actions are attitudes which help us pursue out goals. Because of that goal, your attitudes towards objects relevant to achieving that goal should become more positive. In short attitudes make us evaluatively ready to achieve the goals which matter to us. This account hold that our fear of saying leads us to adopt or cling to attitudes that reflect cultural worldviews out of belief that if we do so, part of us will survive death. Argued that political conservatism is a form of motivated or ego- defensive cognition that helps people ward off certain anxieties. These researches identified two core values to political conservatism. Second core is dimension of conservatism: which is the endorsement of inequality. According to jost (and colleagues) these core values are attempts to manage fear and uncertainty. Knowledge function: attitude help organize out understanding of the world.
