Can funcion as an sd which is a cue that emiing the behaviour speciied will lead to the reinforcer ideniied in the rule / cue that not following the rule will lead to a punisher. Rules can clearly idenify reinforcers or punishers associated with rules as well as consequences. Reinforcers are limited for rules stated in the form of advice -> usually favourable consequences if you do that the advice says you should.
