Behavioural procedures are combinaions of behavioural principles. Principle of respondent condiioning states that if an ns is followed closely in ime by a us that elicits a ur, then the previous ns will also tend to elicit the now called cr in the future. Synonymous to pavlovian condiioning and classical condiioning. Respondent behaviours are those elicited by prior simuli that aren"t afected by their consequences. Inluenced by respondent condiioning based on uncondiioned relexes. Refer to simulus-response relaionship in which simulus automaically elicits response apart from any prior learning (innate) Refer to simulus-response relaionship in which simulus elicits a response of prior respondent condiioning. Uncondiioned simulus (us) elicits a response without prior learning or condiioning. Uncondiioned response (ur) is elicited by an us.
