Sexual assault: encompasses a variety of behaviours that may or may not include penetration preferred now over the term rape . Sexual assaults that do not qualify as rape are listed as part ii offences, for which only arrest information is gathered. Sodomy: oral or anal sexual intercourse with another person, without the consent of the victim, including instances where the victim is incapable of giving consent because of age or because of temporary or permanent mental or physical incapacity. Incest: nonforcible sexual intercourse between persons who are related to each other wherein marriage is prohibited by law. Rape by fraud: sexual relations with a consenting adult female under fraudulent conditions e. g. a psychotherapist who has sexual intercourse with a patient under the guise of offering treatment. Marital rape: sexual assault within an intimate partner relationship. Date rape: sexual assault that occurs within the context of a dating relationship.
