Treatment for pcp psychosis: treatment of pcp toxic reactions require time passage and reassurance, diazepam may be used to help control muscle spasms and restlessness & anticonvulsant. Ketamine: ketamine (ketalar) was found to have the most therapeutic value as anesthetic, ketamine"s pharmacodynamic actions are identical to those of pcp; that is it antagonizes. Anticholinergics: one of the oldest known group of p/p/hs is called the anticholinergics because these drugs are pharmacological, competitive antagonists of a class of acetylcholine (ach) receptors called muscarine receptors.
