Objectivity: certain faces about the world can be observed and measured (not just by the experts) but individually as well. When people observe an event their interpretation is subjective (shape the event based off of their beliefs, expectations, experiences, and mood) It is based on measurements and is objective, valid and reliable. Use of objective measurements (measure that is consistent across instruments and observes with limited allowed margin of errors) Measuring weight (1 kg must be the same mass everywhere) A researcher is not allowed to change the mass of a kg to their choice.
