Group identification and intergroup bias: we always view ppl in the groups that we"re in as the best. Groups can be racial, team/job, or personal characteristics etc groups. Interdependance: when ppl are dependant on each other, there is potential for conflict bc they each have thier own goals to accomplish. Ex sales ppl need production ppl to produce on time, production needs sales orders earlier. If ppl didn"t have to rely on each other (ie get it done myself) then there would be no conflict. Sometimes the dependance is one way, so ppl can use that as power to leverage. Power: a person has power when the other is dependant on him, but he is not dependant on them.
