The evolutionary approach to aggression: agreed aggression is genetically programmed for males to perpetuate their genes, males said to agress for 2 reasons: Frustration doesn"t always lead to aggression- produces anger and readiness to aggress if situation is prone to aggressive behaviour. Size and strength of person responsible for frustration + ability to retaliate. If frustration is understandable, legitimate, unintentional = tendency to aggress reduced.
