Psy complex: a heterogenous network of agents, sites, practices and techniques for the production, disseminatition, legitimation and utilization of psychological truths. It includes a loosely defined group of experts who possess a professional and moral status such as cousellors. Chocentrism: constituted: expert knowledge: a perspective that defines who people are without direct input from those under observation. It expresses relations of power in which those at the centre can define and categorize social and material life normalization: foucaults terms for how a certain version of things takes on the appeal as standard tru or normal. Normalization has become a popular theoretical tool for identifying the arbitrariness of assigning normal status to many things most of us take for grand. Foucault believed that normalization is the most effective means of social regulation in cotemporary western socities normalization power: a force in society that compares, differentiates, creates hierarchy, homogenizes and excludes.
