Economic changes have also facilitated changes to the nature of the employer and employee relationship. Competitive forces operate at two levels for any organization. Ex: globalization creates more competitors from both domestic and foreign to organizations. Technology play a central role in how an organization functions, how it obtains resources and how effectively it competes.
