Wind, climate, water - subconscious sounds that occur all the time, when we are walking down the street - some keynote sounds that we hear and we might not pay attention to:- When cars are passing us on the street, it"s there but it"s a subconscious thing. however in our soundwalk it will be a keynote, or footsteps. Signal- conscious sound - something in foreground - something you would notice. If a dog barks at us- it will something we will conscious lt pay attention to. Or a bird we took notice of chirping. Soundmark - something that is unique to that environment.
