The adoption of technological devices have transformed the way we are physically and mentally. It can be hard to break away from computing activities such as twitter because our hunger for quick information grows and grows as we continue to receive it. Perception changes with technology for example, cell phones make us feel safe. Technology changes the way we relate to people. Ex; amish thought gas bbqs brought people together while telephones were thought to distant people. (face-to-face conversations) We can"t prevent new technological inventions but we can choose to adopt it. We can in uence the rate at which new technologies are developed, an example would be laws. Society develops technology to solve problems or to make life earlier but can also change social conditions that create new problems. Manual computing has been around for years, using everything including: tablet, abacus, & mathematical. These methods are subject to errors and slower calculations.
