Document Summary

Emil l fackenhim judaism and the meaning of life. Judaism - god is an interactive being i and thou . Meaning is produced by experiences of the divine. God has commands humans must follow, we are easily disobeying but god"s patience is absolute. Why is he so far away when i need him? (dialectic ingeniousism) There are times when god is near and far. Parental analogy claims that our relationship with god is like parent and child. Judaism is like a contract, god plus people. ( the partnership is not equal) Logical, cannot use religion to justify it"s my faith you need. The idea of personal god is childish. We don"t need a big daddy in the stories telling us what to do. Evil, there are good parents and bad parents.
