Test-retest reliability: ensuring diagnosis techniques are stable across time. 2. validity: whether something measures what it is designed to measure. Concurrent/descriptive validity: newer method produces same results as older. Predictive validity: how well your assessment tells the future (ex: iq test & success) 3. standardization: norms/standards for consistency in di erent measurements (ex: 19 year old, first nations, male = similar results to others like him)
