In europe during the 1600s, women often raised crops, cared for the farm animals, and brought products to the market. In the early middle ages (300-900 a. d. ), women apparently fought in some battles, because women"s bodies have been found on battlefields. In some areas, women have been buried with their weapons: women are missing from the history books because their work was typically confined to home and family. He argued that women should have equal rights and equal opportunities. They should be able to own property, to vote, to be educated, and to choose a profession.
