The idea of industrial democracy is to put an effort to incorporate employees when it comes to making decisions within the organization (to a certain degree). Managers and owners still have a great deal of power / capacity to control what goes on in the organization then the workers in the democratized work environment. Industrial democracy has given the opportunity for workers to speak up however many prominent concerns were rarely ever brought to attention for discussion (karend. hughes, 2011) . among the issues were job security, health and safety. Therefore organizations who implemented industrial democracy had to redesign profit sharing, have fewer layoffs and more consultation about technological change.
