Culture is the totality of learned, socially transmitted customs, knowledge, material objects, and behavior. It includes ideas, values, and artifacts of groups of people. It consists of all objects and ideas within a society, including slang words, ice cream cones, and rock music. A society is when they live in the same territory, are relatively independent of people outside their area and participate in a common culture. A society is the largest form of human group. They even preserve their distinctive culture through literature, art, video recordings, and other means of expression. Having a common culture also simplified may day-to-day interacting. Culture industry standardizes the goods and services demanded by consumers. Adorno (cid:272)o(cid:374)te(cid:374)ds that glo(cid:271)all(cid:455) the pri(cid:373)ar(cid:455) effe(cid:272)t of popular (cid:272)ulture is to li(cid:373)it people"s (cid:272)hoi(cid:272)es. Sometimes the culture industry is embraced, at other times, soundly rejected. Certain common practices and beliefs are known as cultural universals.
