Behaviours take on particular meanings in particular social contexts. Cultural sociology describes and analyses these systems of meaning. Humanities perspective: culture is autonomous from society. Sociology: culture is influence by social factors, link between culture and society. Institutions rely on each other to meet needs. Idealize or sensationalize aspects of social experience.
