Kappa: a greek letter that has been transported into the world of the internet. It gets used millions of times a day. It is used as a signal of sarcasm. If the tone is confusing, kappa is used to show sarcasm. It takes on a cultural capital, its about a know-how of contemporary culture. It is the central idea of what greek myth does once it gets into the contemporary culture, it is about knowing something about an object. Using myth: we can trace some of the uses of myth and how they are deployed, as polemic, a weaponizing myth. Used to fight between cultures: cultural capital, the myth as an aesthetic, judgement, or evaluation of what it is that myths are, and how it becomes standard fare of what people do with myth. Polemic: how do you weaponize a myth, we have seen examples of how gods are associated with places.
